Services and features of the unit:

-In this unit, there are 11 ICU beds, 10 open beds and an isolated bed with complete equipment required for caring patients after large surgeries and for patients with multiple issues specially neurological and respiratory disorders.

- In this section, patients requiring intensive care are admitted. The ICU of the Ayatollah Yasrebi Hospital is available 24 hours a day using modern equipment and specialists in fields of Nephrology, Neurology, Cardiology of anesthesia and Lung, and 20 occupational therapists ready to serve patients.

Visiting patients in this unit is done through monitoring system that is connected to the waiting room.

- All beds are equipped with ventilator (mechanical ventilation) and monitoring system, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, skin thermometer, central oxygen and central suction.

- Echocardiography is done in the unit

- Bronchoscopy is done by portable bronchoscopes in the unit.

- Caring for ailing patients with respiratory and neurological diseases requiring mechanical ventilation and accurate control of vital signs, including CRF, CVA, and poisoning and cancers.

Unit equipment:

The ICU is equipped with advanced equipment and central monitoring and is ready to provide and render services for sick patients throughout the day. The experienced and compassionate personnel of this unit regularly receive the necessary training during internal and external or public conferences.

The structure of this unit is in accordance with the latest global standards and with the use of natural light, an appropriate environment for patients has been provided.

The ICU is allocated to your patients with problems:

Caring for all patients who have undergone major surgery and as a result, are suffering from acute disorders and changes in one or more organs of the body.

Patients requiring ventilation with a device for respiration especially need to be connected to the ventilator.

Patients whose cardiovascular condition is impaired after critical conditions and emergencies such as severe shock and bleeding, and they have unstable condition due to the following traumatic brain injury or brain surgeries.

-Hemodynamic and electrolyte changes, airway cares, respiration, cardiovascular system and renal system of patients in this unit is regularly controlled.

Unit regulations:

Visiting patients in this unit depends on the decision of the unit head in order to improve the patient's well-being and control the infection in hospital but people who are accompanying the patient can be informed of their patient status through a monitoring system installed in the corridor.

The ICU is an intensive care unit in which visiting is very limited due to the increased risk of infection.

Patients receive visitors at 15-16 am through the waiting room monitor.

At the patient's arrival, the initial explanation of the patient's health condition will be taken from the patient's relatives.

At the time of admission, bring all the medical records, radiographs, test results and medical files and give the to ICU personnel.

Inform the personnel of any specific medicine that the patient consumes.

Submit the health insurance booklet to the ICU personnel.

The cell phone number of the person who is accompanying the patient must be given to the ICU personnel for emergency situations and be added to the patient's file.
