Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The ICU is equipped with advanced equipment and central monitoring. All beds are equipped with ventilator (mechanical ventilation) and monitoring system, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, skin thermometer, central oxygen and central suction.

ICU Services :

  • Caring for patients with respiratory and neurological diseases requiring mechanical ventilation and accurate control of vital signs, including CRF, CVA, and poisoning and cancers.
  • Caring for all patients who have undergone major surgery and as a result, are suffering from acute disorders and changes in one or more organs of the body.
  • Patients requiring ventilation with a device for respiration especially need to be connected to the ventilator.
  • Patients whose cardiovascular condition is impaired after critical conditions and emergencies such as severe shock and bleeding, and they have unstable condition due to the following traumatic brain injury or brain surgeries.
  • Hemodynamic and electrolyte changes, airway cares, respiration, cardiovascular system and renal system of patients in this unit is regularly controlled.
  • Echocardiography is done in the unit
  • Bronchoscopy is done by portable bronchoscopes in the unit.

Unit regulations :

  • People who are accompanying the patient can be informed of their patient status through a monitoring system installed in the corridor.
  • At the time of admission, bring all the medical records, radiographs, test results and medical files.
  • The cell phone number of the person who is accompanying the patient must be given to the ICU personnel for emergency situations and be added to the patient's file.
